I was trained in painting detailed realism, but now I enjoy exploring abstracts and impressionistic watercolors that begin in my reality and evolve into something more uniquely expressive of my world. Even after many years of painting, I find that watercolors are often a humbling endeavor; and yet it is often the happy accident that creates a magical piece of art.
