2D Judge: Sharon DiGiuglio
Sharon DiGiulio has worked and created in the art industry for over 40 years. From advertising and package design to fine art painting and art event planning, she is now retired from her job of 20 plus years as director of Art of the Carolinas. Sharon enjoys creating in her studio, teaching workshops there and in various places around the country, running around with her grandson and tending to her many plants. She works in a variety of different media, including acrylics, collage, resin, encaustic and fabric.
3D Judge: Joseph DiGiulio
Joseph DiGiulio is an abstract painter based in Raleigh, North Carolina. He previously worked as an Educational Accounts Manager at Jerry's Artarama and is a graduate of East Carolina University’s School of Art, which he attended in the mid-1970s. His professional experience includes international travel to locations like Australia and the South of France to assist in developing acrylic paint lines.
DiGiulio's current body of work features large abstract paintings. These pieces are vibrant expressions of color, line, shape, and texture, capturing the dynamics and success of his cancer recovery and incorporating the essence of his global travels.
