Kathy Sperl-Bell

I was born in Flushing, NY, but lived and worked in many parts of this country and had several careers in sales and marketing. When I retired, several friends encouraged me to pursue painting. I had always gravitated to colorful abstract works and images influenced by music, specifically Jazz and Blues. Many of my art pieces are conceptual reflections of music and movement and NYC. I also love living and painting on the coast. My medium is acrylic and some mixed media, and my style is abstract.
